These pictures are worth a million words and thought provoking. However I have one curious question...what did this man think of you taking his picture?
He thought it was amazing that i could make him look allot older with the contrast. his close were to nice to really show the hardship of the streets so i lent him my boots and a jacket. and how he agreed to do the shoot was that this campaign will bring awareness to people about how great it feels when they turn a blind eye. I asked this gentleman to tell me stories about his experiences on the street and maybe we could bring them to life for others to better understand and he jumped at the chance. it will be published on the shepherds of good hope web site. http://www.shepherdsofgoodhope.com/pg_Home.php
Nice work! Can I ask if the man in the picture is Peter Close from Germany originally? I am trying to find him for the last 5 years. I need to thank him and to know more his ways of life. would appreciate any info. my email lposkus@gmail.com
I am a photographer based in Ottawa but who travels extensively to work and take pictures. I enjoy working in both black and white and in colour. I have done corporate photography, wedding and event shoots, and my photography has been used on book covers, industry promotions and in power point presentations. Most importantly, I have taken a massive number of shots of my three kids.
